Life
Do you ever feel like you are in the dark, empty and alone
with no life? When all the friends are gone and all the fun is
over, do you ever wonder what is left of life? Do you ever
wonder if there’s got go be more than what you’re living for?
I mean how did we get here? Who am I and what is my reason for
living? What purpose do I really have? If we are honest with
ourselves we have all asked these questions at some point in
our lives. We try to find our purpose and just when we think
we have found it we come up empty, again. If it’s not a new
girlfriend, it’s a new house, or a new job, or a new this or a
new that, never satisfying the longing in your heart. You are
searching and you are seeking for the One thing that will
satisfy.
Your Creator created you to know Him. He created you with a
void that only He can fill. Our God is jealous for us. You can
search and try to find fulfillment in other things or people,
but will come up empty every time. Sure it will satisfy for a
moment, but then it will be back to the same cycle all over
again. Chasing a rainbow is not very easy to do. God has
promised to give us a life that is fulfilling and rewarding.
He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and the amazing
thing is that He does not see you as you see yourself. Nope,
He sees us in all your mess, and desires to make us a success!
Believe it or not, He has a plan for you, yeah, just for you.
God says, “I know the thoughts I have toward you, thoughts of
peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”.
In Psalm 139, God says He knew you even before you were born.
He knit you together in your mother’s womb. His eyes saw your
substance, being yet unformed. In His book were written all
the days fashioned for you. In other words, He knew what was
going to happen to you even before it happened. He wants you
to know how special you are to Him. He thinks about you all
the time. In verse 17 of Psalm 139, it says, “How precious are
your thoughts toward me O God! If I should count them, they
would be more in number than the sand.” Than the sand! God
thinks about you more than all the grains of the sand! You may
not think that you are special to God because of all of the
things you have done not only to yourself, but to others and
also to Him, but His love really is for you. It is the love
that you have been longing for because He created you to
fellowship with Him in that love. Everyone is longing to be
loved with no strings attached, just as they are. God’s love
for you is unconditional, which means that you do not have to
do anything to earn it, He loves you so much that He provided
a way for you to receive His love.
He sent His only Son to die on the cross. He sent Jesus into
the world to fully take away every evil in mankind, every
hurt, every pain, every ache, and every disease. Sin came into
the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate from the
tree of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, and their sin was
exposed. Until Jesus, there was no complete remedy for sin,
except to kill an animal that had to be perfect with no
blemishes, cuts, or bruises. It had to be perfect and its
blood had to be shed in order for there to be forgiveness of
sins. In other words, the penalty for sin was death, something
perfect had to die so that man was not separated from God and
forgiveness could be made. God sent Jesus to be this perfect
sacrifice so that the sins of the whole world could be
forgiven, completely done away with, deleted. Now we can start
over with a clean slate and we can live the life that God gave
Adam and Eve before they sinned in the Garden. Everything that
was taken has now been restored. I tell you that everything
Satan has taken from you and will be fully restored when you
receive Jesus Christ into your heart and make Him your life.
His love is so pure and unfailing. The Bible says that He will
never leave you nor will He ever forsake you. Jesus died on
the cross for the penalty of our sin and three days later He
rose again. Jesus Christ was raised from the dead to let us
know of the power that is in Christ. That what He says is true
and real and there is proof that He lives and is able to take
away sins. The resurrection power of Christ Jesus wants to
make you into a new person. The Bible says He has gone to
prepare a place for us that where He is we can be also. In
life we have a choice where we want to spend eternity. God’s
remedy is life through Jesus Christ, but for those who do not
want to accept this free gift of God, that is their choice,
but we must stand before God with His gift in order to enter
into this place that Jesus has gone to prepare. We must have
the very thing that washes away our sins, His precious blood
that was shed for us. For those who do not receive God’s free
gift of love and life, and they choose to live a life of sin,
they have made their choice to make their bed in hell. I know
this seems harsh, but sin cannot enter into heaven. I wouldn’t
want some murderer living with me. I would not allow an
abductor to live inside my house with me when I have all my
innocent children also living with me. That is ludicrous. Why
would God allow sin in heaven when He made a way for all to be
delivered from sin? He made it so easy. All can be free from
the pain and anguish of a life of sin. God does not just
forgive you… He actually changes us on the inside. He gives us
a new heart and a new spirit, we receive His divine nature and
He places His Spirit in us to lead and guide us into all
truth. The word of God will not be a mystery or hard to be
understood. The Bible (God’s word) is revealed to us by His
Spirit. He takes us out of the realms of darkness and places
us into the kingdom of His dear Son.
So you have a choice to make; you can stay in your sin or
receive the free gift of God. Jesus said, I am the way, the
truth, and the life, no man comes to the father but by me.
Everyone who tries to get there any other way is a robber and
thief.
If you would like the awesome gift of God, ask Jesus Christ to
be your life right now, pray this prayer. He is calling you to
live a life with Him that you never expected to live, one of
hope, joy, and peace. He loves you.
Jesus, thank you for
loving me. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.
Jesus forgive me for all of them. Take them away. I receive
your forgiveness. I accept Jesus and I take His precious
blood that was shed for me and I apply it to my life right
now. I want to go to heaven. I want to be with You when I
die. I want to know and experience your true pure love for
me. Come into my heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I
turn from my sin and allow you to be my everything. Fill me
with Your joy knowing what You have done for me today! Jesus
thank you for making me a new person. I now begin my love
journey with You. Amen.
